I have to admit, starting an accounting business from scratch is no joke.

Sure, I have experience and education in the industry but being a tax accountant is a whole beast! Official tax code guidance sprawls across 75,000 pages. These pages are encrypted by legal teams and are definitely some of the most dull reads I have ever had.

Still though, I happily traverse the word-scapes–because it is important to me. I aim at serving my clients in fully.

Last year, in my first year solo as Financial Bookworm, LLC I have completed 317 tasks and supported 25 projects in IRS compliance for my clients since officially opening my doors in June/July of 2023.

I am so incredibly grateful to my mentors, clients, and friends and family for their support and trust in 2023. With 2024 tax season opening next Monday, I am truly excited for what is to come.
